It was the second time our friend Matjaz from Slovenia hunted in Spain. On his first visit, he took a beautiful Beceite ibex (post 23/02/2024, “Full Moon’s Ibex”).

This time, he was looking for a fine Barbary sheep in Alicante, where we manage what is probably the best hunting area in Spain, thanks to its high density and excellent trophy quality.

On our first afternoon, we made a beautiful approach and got to 57 meters, but the steep terrain made the final meters and the shot challenging. The trophy was well worth the effort (Bronce medal).

The following day, accompanied by my son, each hunter took a fine, old female, completing a fantastic weekend!!

Thank you, Matjaz, for some unforgettable days. We look forward to seeing you again in February 2027 for the Montería.
