This time, our good friend and client was interested in a challenging and wild experience so we decided to go to Picos de Europa (Asturias) for a mountain stag. This mountais are exceptionally nice but hard where you need a high fitness level to achieve your dreamed trophy.
It was still dark when we started (06:15 h) and we got the first shooting chance at 20:21 h after more than 16 km stalking up and down by tortuous, narrow and rocky paths. But it was totally worth it and after a quick shot at 347 meters we got a magnificent and pure MOUNTAIN STAG!
