Winter hunting in the Alps is always tough, but truly fascinating.
On this occasion, we travelled with our friend Mads, who has been hunting with us for several years, to Tyrol, Austria, in search of the exclusive Alpine ibex.
The weather was terrible during the two days we were able to hunt, but with great luck and determination, Mads took this fine ibex with an extremely difficult shot in the middle of a heavy snowstorm.
We were also looking for Alpine chamois, but it was not possible. On the third day, conditions forced us to return home , hunting was simply impossible.
We will definitely be back for it.
